Deleteoh poor Anne Frank....while that is an incredible quote, I am praying we will get to see peace in our lifetime because she sure didn't in hers :(
ReplyDeleteI chose an Anne Frank quote as a tribute to her spirit, especially after what happened in Pittsburgh. We must never forget how hatred unchecked can take us to places unimaginably dark and evil… and how hope requires action. Her expression of her hopes and fears took the form of her amazing diary, which endures to inspire us to care for each other. My hope for the people of the Tree of Life synagogue is that the outpouring of love they've received from their countrymen after this unspeakable outrage will be of a little bit of comfort…these are dark times for sure...
