Every month it's fun to try a new product from Chewy.com and let you know what Toby and I think of it. This month we asked to try Proper Toppers from The Honest Kitchen. 

Proper Toppers are kibble-sized nuggets of treats made from 5 superfoods for dogs: 90% turkey supplemented with apples, pumpkin, chard, and blueberries. All are human grade food made in the U.S.A. When you open the bag there's a rich meaty smell that Toby definitely found enticing.

The Honest Kitchen recommends serving 2T over your dog's food for every 20 pounds your dog weighs. They say you can feed your dog Proper Toppers alone, but for the price I like the idea of using them as recommended to "pep up meals".

I poured a little warm water over the whole dish. Proper Toppers don't swell up, but the scent and  "sauce" seemed to make Toby very happy! He really did seem to think he was getting something special for dinner.
