"Actually, for me every day is National Pet Day!" |
I spent the morning at the Virginia Zoo teaching an education program called "It Takes All Kinds".
The weather was gorgeous yesterday. Today it's dreary, raining, and chilly. Yuck.
So the photos posted here are from recent sunnier days!
"Nothing to see here. Just a dog. With a flower. On his head." |
Dogs with flowers on their heads sure are cute!!
ReplyDeleteEvery day is National Pet Day at our place too :-)
Every day is National Pet Day here too so we don't bother to pick just one day. Which is my excuse for missing it. :)

To your mom - you are more than welcome to use one of those coyote photos for a painting. If you don't mind sharing, I'd love to see what you paint!!!
Someone who commented later told me about a Barbara Kingsolver book about coyotes. You might like it too!

ReplyDeleteI can't believe you lived in Bermuda too! That's so funny. What a coincidence! Some day I'm hoping to go back for a visit - hopefully around Easter time!
Yeah, I'm so disorganized I usually miss birthdays and wedding anniversaries. There's no way I'll remember National Pet day. : )
ReplyDeleteBTW, I'd love to hear more about your talk at the zoo. Have you ever written about that?
That sounds like a fun class even if the weather was yucky. ☺ Thanks so much for your thoughts and POTP this week. It truly made a huge difference in how my week turned out.
