It's not that there wasn't tons of beauty. It's just that it was holiday and family-related. The kind of thing you would have to be family to be even remotely interested in. Also, the kids understandably don't want our private holiday zaniness on the web for all to see.
However there's one photo I took of my granddaughter Christmas night that her mother already shared online:
She's showing the waving hologram of Mickey Mouse her new Minnie Mouse watch. |
Here are the results.
"It's been twenty minutes. Time to go in, don'cha think?" |
I love the double cowlick on Toby's chest. |
Can you tell it was spinning? |
It's a tree on a tree. Or an arrow. Rorschach test? |
Then just as I was ready to give up, a cardinal came in. He was soon followed by chickadees, juncos, and a mourning dove!
Thank you Sugar of Golden Woofs for hosting the {This Moment} See Beautiful blog hop, and for reminding me that you can see beautiful everywhere but you have to look!
Those are ALL beautiful pictures... but NONE can top that GORGEOUS Grandchild. HER EYES and her Smile.... OH THAT IS TRUE BEAUTY... THAT PICTURE IS WORTH A FRAME AND A SPECIAL PLACE ON THE WALL...

Caren, she is like a little magnet. All 3 year olds are cuties, but she has a genuine charisma, everywhere she goes.
DeleteAll kinds of beauty! Gorgeous grand baby. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Nola. Yes I was truly surprised at how much I found to photograph. From inside the house it looked much more bleak. (…need to get out more!)
DeleteYour granddautghter is SO cute! Lovely pics! I love cardinals so much and we don't have them here. I miss them!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if you have a different species of cardinal there. When we were on our Hawaii vacation we saw cardinals about the same size but a different color pattern of red, black, and white.
DeleteWhat a beautiful post, you did great with this post! Love all the pictures and the first one of your granddaughter is just precious.
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by and leaving such a nice comment, JoAnn!
DeleteThat is a beautiful post! Your granddaughter looks so sweet. And the beauty that you and Toby found outside was wonderful. The cardinal is such a treat - a splash of bright happy color in mid-winter!!! I love the double cow-like too... Shyla has that but no beautiful white blaze like Toby has.
ReplyDeleteThese are all wonderful photos. Your granddaughter is adorable.
