-If you're reading this, you're probably a very good photographer (I've noticed this about bloggers). I'd like to share a fun photo-sharing site that may be new to some. The National Geographic YourShot page offers a global forum. They have optional "Assignments" as a fun way to explore themes. Reading the editors' comments on their favorite photos is helping me understand what they think makes a good photo, especially in the area of composition. It's lots of fun. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh what pretty B&W....you know mom says she grew up with B&W and did not fully appreciate the beauty of it until she had a digital camera and was able to make her B&W.
