52 Snapshots of Life: "Bokeh"

My best guess for how this week's 52 Snapshots word became bokeh is that it has to do with what happens when you unfocus your eyes while staring at the lit Christmas tree!

 I thought I'd be trying to get that effect for this post. Instead, as I was going through pictures I took while playing with my new camera, I found that I accidentally made a shot with bokeh in the background. A tree in our back yard is covered with tiny colorful cherries.

I thought it would be fun to play with the macro setting.

And voila! Bokeh!
