It's Still Pumpkin Treat Season! Here's a Healthy One...

After this weekend the skeletons and witches and ghosts get packed away for another year, but the pumpkins and sunflowers stay out until Thanksgiving. And no one - including Toby - is ready to say goodbye to the pumpkin treats for another year.
"Is this some kind of trick? You want me to take the treats out of the dish?"

So when choosing a product to review this month from Chewy.com, the Nutro Ultra Oatmeal and Pumpkin Biscuits caught my eye. I trust Nutro Natural Choice dog food already since it's what we fed Kasey and now feed Toby. Every morning Toby "brushes his teeth" with Nutro Dental Treats. I expected quality from these pumpkin treats, and I wasn't disappointed.

"No trick, Toby, just a treat or four."
These aren't training treats. They're a generous size and crunchy. Toby loves them and licks up every crumb.

In addition to oatmeal and pumpkin, these treats are made with Nutro's Ultrassential Superfood Blend: tomato, spinach, cranberry, sunflower oil, flaxseed, pomegranate, egg, brown rice, and blueberry. Three proteins: salmon, lamb, and chicken are included.

What's missing? Wheat, soy, corn, cornmeal, and artificial colors, preservatives, flavors, fillers. All in all, these fun pumpkin treats are almost too healthy to be called "treats" at all - but apparently they taste fantastic.

I'll take Toby's word for that since the photo shoot required letting him eat four of them and right now he's sitting at my feet begging for more.

"Two left…

"I must be dreaming…there's no way I'm getting a whole bowl of pumpkin treats…is it my birthday?"

I was provided a bag of Nutro Oatmeal and Pumpkin treats in return for an honest review. I believe knowing about a resource for quality online shopping like Chewy.com for pets can be of value to readers of Terra Toby.
