Look what was framed in my kitchen window this morning!
It must have worked hard to make such a large web so early in the morning!
I sprinkled a pinch of flour on the web so it would catch some light and be visible in the photos. Since it's on the outside minding its own business, I've left it in peace.
Besides, it's a natural Halloween decoration!
Toby was certainly in no mood to pose for a Halloween picture!
I may have cast a shadow over his whole day by making him wear a festive cloth over his head!

Oh dear, Mom ran screaming from the room at the very first photos (she doesn't do spiders!) Shame 'cos she missed a great photo of Tony looking adorable

Princess Leah xxx
Sorry Princess Leah, my daughter is afraid of them too :)
DeleteI have a gecko that lives outside my window right now. I see him every night eating bugs. I think my lamp light attracts the bugs so it's a great spot for him. And lol - Toby you poor thing!
ReplyDeleteThat gecko found an ideal home - lots of food and a yard where he's safe and appreciated. Thanks for sharing that, it made me smile.
DeleteCool spider!
ReplyDeleteIt was, and in the evening when it stretched its legs more you could see how striped they were. Interesting!
DeleteCool spider! I subbed a few weeks ago in a classroom that was out in a portable, and the kids showed me these two huge spiders on webs right outside the door. The kids kept trying to tease the spider by blowing on it every time they walked past. I was waiting for the spider to jump off the web and bite them! (Would kinda serve them right...)
ReplyDeleteThey didn't break the webs though and that's saying something for them. I don't think spiders like that mind, after all the wind moves their webs around too.
DeleteIS THAT SPIDER???!!!!
ReplyDeleteYES! Haha thanks for visiting Suri!
DeleteToby your howl-o-ween decoration looks tasty somehow...I wish I had all that candy corns :o)
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh that spider for sure pulled an all nighter to create that lovely work of art.
ReplyDeleteToby sweet boy thank you for being so tolerant...you are surely looking coy today in your head gear.
MOL MOL MOL
Hugs madi your bfff
What a beautiful web. So symmetrical and huge!
ReplyDeleteI agree that Toby didn't seem to like his festive hood. I hope he's recovered!
Eeek. A spider. That IS creepy! I get major heebie-jeebies when I see a bug!
ReplyDeleteTell Toby it could be worse - it could be a full-on costume!
