The Doggie Hotel

Our son is graduating from college. We are traveling with both of his sisters to proudly watch him cross the stage. Unfortunately, guess who can't come with us - Toby.

So for the second time in his life - and in this month - Toby will be boarded at his doggie daycare.
Toby at Day Care
He loves it there, as you can see from this picture our daughter took. They give him a report card at the end of the day and his always says "I ran and wrestled". On the weekends the boarded dogs are let outside to play in the yard for a few hours in the morning and again in the late afternoon.

I don't know how he feels about spending the night there. I was really worried about him a few weeks ago. Would he be scared when it got dark and no one came for him? Would he be sad? Would he be like Kasey was and refuse to eat?

Well, definitely he ate. He barked like a maniac with excitement when I picked him up. But when we got home he swaggered inside and life just went back to normal. He didn't seem to be bothered at all. And he was just as happy to go back to day care for a play day. So, this time I won't be so worried.

I'm going to enjoy every minute of my son's big weekend. And for those of you at BlogPaws, I hope you enjoy every minute too. Safe travels!

Sorry you don't get to join in the fun, but maybe they'll celebrate again when you all get back home? :)

  3. Congrats to your Son! Sounds like Toby will do just fine. HATE to the leave the boys, but sometimes it's unavoidable, and frankly they don't actually seem to mind.
