Our yard was recently certified as a wildlife habitat. We try to be friendly to the local wildlife. But somebody has a bone to pick with that:

Come back tomorrow to find out how your yard can be certified too!
We sure have enough rabbits in our backyard to be a rabbit sanctuary!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have a yard but we see raccoons in our parking lot. Does that count?
ReplyDeleteWe have geese in the park here and the trouble us Weasley bob and ping eat goose poo ick

We have raccoons, opossums and tons of squirrels so our yard already looks like a sanctuary. But then we also have our semi-feral siblings living out there too. Basically our yard looks like a zoo. MOL!

Toby, stay out of my yard. My duck would attack you.

What a neat honor! Unless lizards, frogs, and squirrels count, we are out of luck.

ReplyDeleteI have a friend (he's actually the owner/human dad of one of my small dog's litter mates) who got his yard certified as a wildlife habitat. I think it would be cool to do, if I had my own yard!
ReplyDeleteThat is great. You must tell us all about the wildlife in your garden. Have a terrific Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Wow, that's very cool. Not sure Rita would be too welcoming to wildlife in our yard! She's definitely not a fan when any birds stop by. (Toby looks so velvety soft in that pic!)
ReplyDeleteHa! Love the duck. We had one like that very briefly, before R destuffed it!
ReplyDeleteOfficial wildlife habitat. Sounds cool!
How cool is that. We used to have lots of animals in our backyard but since we moved to the city, we don't have any. I'm not sure my two would be able to resist the ducks though. Prince had a bad run with a duck when he was young and is still holding a grudge.
ReplyDeleteHope everyone there had a wonderful Cinco de Mayo :)
we have wild tunneling bees and lots of birds ,and some frogs,xx Speedy
ReplyDeleteHey Toby
ReplyDeleteWhat about Squirrels? The ones around here think MY yard is their playground! :)
I hope you're having a fun day,
Your pal Snoopy :)
