We get our drinking water from the Northwest River as it winds its way south into North Carolina.
So can we just stop putting ice in our glasses now? :)
Ice on the river in southeastern VA? No way! Notice no fishing boats are out - another first. |
Hmmm. Thirsty... |
Ah, here's some water under all that glass - nice and cold too. |
We were afraid Toby might walk out onto the ice. Instinctively he stayed on the land and peered curiously down into the water. |
Actually it's too pretty to be called "mischief". |
(So far Toby's weight is down 1 1/2 pounds. Now just 6 1/2 more to lose.)
that was amazing to see - it is so flat and looks just like glass
ReplyDeleteYes, It's beautiful! We don't expect any mischief :-) We invite you to check our post today. You might be interested on the book we reviewed. Golden Woofs

ReplyDeleteMy mom thinks maybe I should come up to VA to train with you. She watches my weight like a hawk.
After all with you are only 12" tall you cannot afford too much extra weight
MOL Hugs Madi your BFFF
Oh how beautiful! We have plenty of ice - I have to dump a bucket of it every morning and fill with fresh water for the chickens - but no snow. I'm so jealous of your snow!
