Toby has taken over today's post as he feels I have seriously let him down and ruined his social life.
OMD! My mom got so preoccupied that she neglected to check her favorite blogs for a couple of weeks (she's so slow to take a hint, even nose-nudges didn't work).

Might as well take a nap - 'til Feb. 15!!! |
And Alas! When she finally gets back on track, there is a Valentines Ball and I missed the invitation! Now everyone is finding dates to the ball and I will be stuck nibbling my Nylabone in my crate instead. It's all her fault. How will I ever forgive her?
I'm sure you can still find a date!
ReplyDeleteSam
Thanks Sam! Us guys have to stick together.
DeleteYour pal, Toby
Don't be sad, Toby. You'll find a date, I just know it. Sounds like your mom needs to go to Human Obedience School with my Ma!
ReplyDeleteShe sure does. The sooner the better. Humans. Just when you think you've got 'em trained they go all crazy and turn their lives upside down. Who can understand them?
DeleteWoof! Woof! No Worries ... you'll have a date. Happy Blog Paws WW. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteSugar...would you ever...I mean, do you think...aw nuts.
DeleteI know when I'm outclassed.
Your admirer,
Toby
Geez Toby, you sure look all tuckered out! You better perk up if you want to find yourself a date, it is the girls that need the beauty rest. Stopping by from the blog hop.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right! I need to go get into some mischief right away and get my mojo back. Hmm what shall it be? If only they'd leave the sausages out in the fry pan on the stove again - that was AWESOME!!!
DeleteThanks for stopping by,
Toby
Poor Toby. Don't feel bad. We don't have dates either. :)
ReplyDeleteAhem. Who is "we"? Any eligible bachelorettes over there at American Dog Blog? Mom has promised to post a very fetching photo of me by the end of the week...
Delete...let me know, Valentine!
Your possible beau,
Toby
I bet you'll find a date Toby. Sometimes us peoples just need to take a break from blogging. It won't reflect badly on you! :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Donna. That's just what I needed to hear. BTW I just visited you and told Mom about your fiction. She is VERY intrigued as she loves reading so I think with retirement she'll be coming over to read your stories starting with Glimmer.
DeleteYour friend,
Toby
Not all of the woofies and kitties have dates!! You can still come...there are some woofies who are going on their own!
ReplyDeleteThat's very nice of you, thank you.
DeleteYour pal,
Toby
Toby, you look pooped with all that nudging! Don't worry, I don't have a date either.
ReplyDeleteMaggie
Thank you Maggie. I guess I can forgive Mom now.
DeleteYour friend, Toby
Toby,
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel buddy, my Mum's useless at all this stuff - she misses all the deadlines, think we should stage an intervention!! :)
Big wags,
Your pal Snoopy :)
