This land is your land, this land is my land
From California to the New York Island
From the Redwood Forest, to the Gulf stream waters
This land was made for you and me
And I went walking that ribbon of highway
And saw above me that endless skyway
I saw below me the golden valley
This land was made for you and me
I roamed and rambled and followed my footsteps
To the sparkling sands of her diamond deserts
And all around me, a voice was sounding
This land was made for you and me
For helping us see beautiful for a lifetime, this post is a tribute to the park rangers, and EPA staff, and all who have protected our public lands for decades. They have my gratitude forever.
What a beautiful tribute!!!

ReplyDeleteI love that song. I wish that we could get the rest of the world to be patriotic about the beauty of our country. It might help with the current mess (e.g., the EPA)...
