Toby was going crazy yesterday in the back yard. When the neighbors behind us try to use their yard he sounds the intruder alert loudly and proudly, for a long time, and it's so annoying. The neighbors must hate it. So when the barking went on for several minutes I went to see what was up.
And lo and behold there actually WAS an intruder! Sure of his safety at the top of the fence, he was placidly taking in the show below. I had time to run into the house, fetch my camera, and take pictures.
I let Toby bark his head off until the intruder sauntered away a few minutes later. I like cats, but my bird feeders aren't bait, so I prefer it if the neighborhood cats avoid our back yard. Good boy, Toby!
Apologies if you saw these pictures on Facebook earlier, but I couldn't resist posting about this today.
Aww Toby! It seems your bark is needed sometimes!!! lol, keep that little bird catcher at a good distance! :)xo leah and kirby

Way to go, Toby! Atta Boy!
ReplyDeleteHa! Good job getting that kitty away from those bird feeders! We love cats too, as long as they're not hunting our birds :-)
