When we got home Ted put Toby's panniers - sans food- on the deck to dry. Some time in the next hour Toby dragged his panniers into the yard. Can you see what he did?
If you look closely you can see that he snipped the webbing where his chest pad buckles in.
Both layers of webbing. Almost looks like it was done with scissors, doesn't it? |
It's a mystery. But major mischief.
(Note: Ted was NOT amused.)
Hmm, Toby, good mischief - way to sabotage the pack so you don't have to carry it. I suspect they will just get it fixed though.
ReplyDeleteYes indeed, plans are already under way!
DeletePack was rubbing? Nice try to get out of carrying it, but I think they'll get you another one.
ReplyDeleteHopefully we won't have to spend money on another, just on a repair.
DeleteOur old pal Princess had teeth like scissors, too - perfect for underpants mischief!
ReplyDeleteWoof! Woof! Wow did you say 100 miles. That,s pawsome. Looking to hear more about it. It might be an over stretch strap. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDelete100 miles on the Appalachian Trail - 10 days of backpacking. I hasten to add that it will be Ted, Toby and Kevin on this adventure...that's a little too much adventure for me!
DeleteAhahahaha! Yes, it's funny because it didn't happen to me. ;)
ReplyDeleteOh Toby, you are quite the character!
Someday it will seem funny around here too....
DeleteThat is mischief...Wonder what Toby was thinking? Definitely want to hear more about this 100 mile hike you've got planned so we'll be back...
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting!
DeleteSo glad you and Toby stopped by Amy...It's great to meet you!
DeleteWell that is mysterious. He looks super cute in the pack, too bad he had to go and do that to it!
ReplyDeleteurban hounds
For now Ted "Ducked" it together. I don't know if that's going to work though :(
DeleteThat is real talent. But Toby, pal, you are going to need that pack for your hiking supplies. Best not to chew too much. :)
ReplyDeletethe brown dawgs
Now that is good advice Toby. I hope you are listening to your friends!!!
Delete100 miles? Wow! I once had a dog who chewed off the thumb of every right handed glove he got ahold of. Only the thumb. Only right handed gloves. Another of life's mysteries :-)
ReplyDeleteThat is so funny! If only they could talk, right?
DeleteWow, he must have razor teeth bol
